Our team at WA Migration Services offers a range of services to support migrants to Western Australia, and to support WA employers to build their workforce through skilled migration.

Skilled Migrant Employment Register

Our new Skilled Migrant Employment Register connects employers with job opportunities for skilled migrants, to build WA's workforce.

Regional WA visa options

Western Australia is the largest state in Australia. From the rugged coastlines and spectacular outback of WA's north, to ancient forests and country living in the south, migrating to regional WA is a smart move!

WA Designated Area Migration Agreement

The WA DAMA enables businesses in Western Australia, who are unable to recruit appropriately qualified Australians to sponsor skilled migrant(s) through three (3) visa pathways:

  • Temporary Skills Shortage (subclass 482) visa;
  • Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) (subclass 494) visa; or
  • Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS) (subclass 186) visa.

State nomination

The State Nominated Migration Program allows the WA Government to nominate eligible skilled migrants for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) for priority occupations.

Job Connect

Skilled Migration Job Connect (Job Connect) is a new initiative supporting migrants to overcome barriers to secure sustainable employment in WA's workforce.

Settlement Services

Our friendly Settlement Services team can provide free information and referral services, assisting you to establish your life and get settled in WA.

Overseas qualifications

Our Overseas Qualification Unit (OQU) offers a free assessment service to have your tertiary or higher education qualification/s recognised, which may help you secure employment in WA's workforce.
